It's time for little red noses and cough! (We hear, in Quebec, it's cold weather 8 months a year) So I decided to give you my ginger shot recipe to help you get through these months with a stronger immune system. Every time I feel a cold coming or winter begins, I prepare this "potion" that helps me a lot. I don't pretend to be a doctor or a miracle recipe, but I feel good:)
Ginger is a natural anti-inflammatory, lemon brings a good dose of vitamin C and honey and its antibacterial properties are perfect for sore throat and runny nose.
In addition, I gave myself the challenge to make a recipe 0 waste! How? The ginger skin is cut with a knife and then dehydrated in the oven (very low temperature) in order to make tea, the lemon peel is covered with vinegar and rests for 3 weeks to make a homemade household product and the ginger pulp is frozen and used in future recipes!
